1:1 therapy sessions

Have you experienced a change recently that is causing concern?

Are you are experiencing long term barriers to feeling emotionally well?

Either way I seek to work with you to identify solutions and offer practical tools to support this. I work both online and in person in Felixstowe town centre.

Deciding to see a therapist and then finding one you trust can feel difficult and daunting, I offer a pressure free 20 minute chat where you can ask me any questions you may have.

It may be you have a mild phobia or have experienced a trauma that is impacting your everyday life. I would like to help you come to a place where you once more feel in control of your emotions and reactions.

When we experience mental ill-health, it can feel like we are being weighed down. I work with you to find your resources, mixed with those that may be around you to shift the feeling of being weighed down.

This approach means that we find solutions and ways to feel better quickly and effectively.

What type of therapy am I offering?

It is short-term, solution focused therapy *. All the techniques are evidence based and work with our brains and bodies natural responses.

* typically 4-6 sessions however it could be more or less dependent on the situation. We will always decide this together.

What does the therapy involve?

Each session will be totally individual to you. I will spend time listening to you in order to understand the changes you would like to see in your life and offer tools and knowledge that can make this possible. We will also work together to learn new skills and tap into resources you may or may not already have, in order to maintain a healthy mental well-being into the future.
